THE 3 E'S OF LIFE

 THE 3'Es OF LIFE

Everyone knows about the three R's Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. You must be wondering that what on earth are the 3 E's. Don't worry ! You will discover it soon :)
The 3 E's are EmbraceEnable and Enhance! These are the three golden words every individual must permanently carve on their soul. Now, you must be thinking that why these words are specifically chosen. I'll explain it to you in simple but fruitful words.
The first E stands for EMBRACE. You must learn to embrace yourself and the things around you no matter how difficult that might be. We must learn to embrace ourselves even in the light of criticism. Everyone has some personal insecurities, we all encounter various challenges in our lives. Nothing in life is going to be easy ! It is you who has to make things simpler. One of the simplest things that will help you get over your insecurities is reaching out for guidance and some moral support. You can go open up to your friends, parents, professors or any kind of therapist. The fact is that everyone at some point of time requires some kind of support no matter how strong he/she is. No matter how well you might be excelling in your life, people will critique you because that is what they are meant for. But it is important to know that the things these critics say will only help you grow, nurture, rise and shine in life. And this is how you will learn to embrace yourself. We all have a rainbow within us. Every vibrant colour of it transpires through us as we grow , interact and deal with various obstacles in life. Patience is all you got to have to discover your inner rainbow.

Albert Einstein has greatly said, " A man cannot be comfortable until his own approval." I guess this sums it all and tells us that in order to improve your life you need to love yourself. As you start loving yourself, you also enhance your life. Yes! ENHANCE is the next precious 'E' To enhance your life there are just three simple steps which one needs to follow i.e. Dream, Aspire and Achieve. Dream big, have a strong aspiration and finally achieve what you aspire and dream through immense self confidence . Believe in your dreams and you'll see it come true.

Finally, the last 'E' is ENABLEEnable yourselves to transform your life. This process will result in various changes that might bring you out of your bubble zone. Changes are bound to occur. This may seem awful and horrifying especially when you are not expecting or aren't prepared for a change. But unfortunately the remote of our life is not in our hands and thus we cannot control it . All we can do is accept the change and embrace it. Accepting it will help you get used to changes. These changes will only help you grow and bloomAfter all, a caterpillar blooms into a butterfly with beautiful wings only after several phases of change. The same gets applied to our lives. In order to fly and soar high with flying colours we must change ! Change for the good and the betterment of not only us but also the people around us. Grow and help grow!
So now that you all know about the 3 E's , hope you all apply it in your daily lives. Live love laugh guys!

Street Art - The Voice of Mumbai's Urbanity

“Art imitates life.”  Art is a mirror showing the beautiful and grotesque face of our world. Through time, all forms of art have been windows into social structures, lifestyles, and beliefs of civilizations. Transformative art has evolved over centuries as the voice of people of their times, inspiring change from a shift in social norms to war revolutions.  ["Humanity" at Sassoon Docks. Photo Credit: Special Arrangement, The Hindu] A tedious train ride in the mornings, the stationary traffic in the evenings, in the gray monotonous life of Mumbai, some days my eyes find the gorgeous colors on mossy walls and railway bridges, across old complexes and abandoned warehouses. The Street Art of Mumbai - present everywhere, unnoticed yet leaving its mark.   From the cultural abundance of the city we inhabit to the push for human rights and protest against climate change, from promoting harmony to lauding the unsung heroes, street art does more than beautify the concrete forest we...

Drizzles and Downpours: An Outsider's Look Into Mumbai's Monsoons

Rivulets of water streaming down green leaves. Tiny paper boats floating around in muddy puddles. The sharp rat-tat-tat of droplets against tin roofs and the scent of sweet jasmine rising through the air.  Back home in Kerala, the monsoons had been a time of celebration. The bright and lush paddy fields, car rides filled with the cheer of raindrop races, and the pleasure in consuming all the kozhikotta and chaaya that my grandmother made.  Board games and splashing puddles colored my monsoon. Yet when I arrived in Mumbai, it all came to a pause. Dancing in the rain turned to rushing for shelter, my puddle splashing transformed into cuffing my jeans and my previously abandoned umbrella found a new purpose.  Mumbai had taken away the joy of my beloved monsoon. Or so I thought.   The monsoons in Mumbai were different. While in Kerala, the cities came to a standstill in the face of storms, the hustle and bustle of Mumbai remained unwavering. A phenomenon I’ve slowly be...

World Sight Day: A New Perspective

Creator: Niruti Stock | Credit: Getty Images We all start our week by lamenting the so-called 'Monday Blues' and stressing about our pending work. Many of us overlook the luxuries we own and curse the life we lead; we never take the time to step into someone else's shoes and live life from their perspective. Life is as appalling as it is enchanting and as unfair as it is beautiful. From time to time, we have all questioned our fate and wondered, “Why me?" At some point in life, we all stumble on a rock, struggle to rise, and conclude that 'nothing good can ever happen in my life.’ But have we ever paused to count all the 'good things' that have already happened to us? The purpose of this blog is not to make you feel guilty but to make you realize that, in many ways, you are in a better position than someone else. At the same time, it highlights a global initiative by WHO and Lions Club International. While the previous blog focused on the 'Leading L...
